What services can you provide?

We can provide ceilidh music for any event, including weddings, corporate entertainment, birthday parties. This can include dances and background music, and don't worry if your guests have never ceilidh danced before - we provide a caller who can teach all the traditional ceilidh dances. We can also accommodate requests for tunes or songs.

Will you teach us the dances?

Yes, we have a dance caller who will walk you through each dance and has experience teaching ceilidh dances to first-time ceilidh-ers from all over the world!

Do you only do ceilidhs?

We can also provide background music interspersed with the dancing.

Do I have to provide any sound equipment?

No, we bring all of our own equipment. If you do already have a sound system that might be suitable, let us know!

Do you take requests for dances/tunes/songs?

Yes, we are able to take requests for tunes or songs within reason for a small additional fee due to the work to learn and rehearse the music. We are folk musicians so Guns 'n' Roses Sweet Child of Mine will not sound exactly like the original recording!

Which ceilidh dances can you do?

We call and play all of the common ceilidh dances (see list below). If you have a special request for a dance please let us know in your enquiry.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

Yes, we ask for a non-refundable 20% deposit to secure the booking.

Are the band willing to travel?

Although the band is based in Scotland, we all have plenty of experience travelling in the UK and abroad to play.

How is my quote calculated?

We charge a blanket fee per musician for a regular length ceilidh (roughly 2-3 hours). In addition to this, we charge for expenses, including travel, sound equipment and special requests.
